Good question as I had not realised that this rule applies when they change employers although as the rule only applies to new starts after 1/8/2022 as it is not included as an exception for starts prior to this or is it?
If it is required for a change of employer whatever you returned for the first employer may have reduced the CAP dure to RPL and this will need to be included in the calculation, or will it?
Do you start with the CAP/ reduced CAP from the first employer, or the CAP remaining for the next employer and then apply any new APL if any has been identified at the start for the next employer?
Its all getting a bit complicated and needs a few questions answered by the Apprenticeship Service.

Change of employer RPL details on DAS

Just as a sense check.. what are people recording in the 'Provide recognition of prior learning (RPL) details' on DAS when they're processing an employer change?
Example:
Are people entering this difference in those prices in the 'How much have you reduced the apprenticeship price by due to RPL?', and what about the 'How many weeks have you reduced the apprenticeship duration by due to RPL?'
