The email you reference seems to fall within the guidelines, so you should be fine;
Redundancy (see paragraphs P274 to P275)
P353 Where appropriate, the evidence pack must include the following:
P353.1 Evidence that the apprentice meets the conditions of an alternative English apprenticeship. In the case of redundancy, such evidence may be a copy of the apprentice’s dismissal notice from the employer, which
cites the reason for dismissal as redundancy. In the absence of a notice of dismissal, other evidence which allows one reasonably to conclude that the apprentice has been made redundant would also be acceptable (e.g. an email informing employees that the business is closing, or other evidence that the business with whom the apprentice had an apprenticeship agreement with has recently closed). See the Glossary definition for the situations which amount to redundancy in law.

Apprenticeship Redundancy Evidence
Created
We have an apprentice who has been made redundant after the business they worked for was liquidated. The business owner is incredibly hard to contact and the only evidence of redundancy is a screenshot of the message the owner sent to the apprentice saying she was liquidising the business. Is this enough? The funding rules are very vague on the evidence required for redundancy - saying that we "must retain evidence of the apprentice’s redundancy in the evidence pack".
