LDM code 362 Apprentice care leavers, This code should be used to identify apprentices who do not wish their employer to be informed that they are a care leaver.
For those over 18 this code ensures that only the provider 16-18 payment is made so that the employer is unaware the apprentice is a care leaver.

If we have a 22-year-old care leaver, who has supplied us with all the evidence we need, would recording the EEF4 code generate both the £1000 care leaver bursary payment that we receive and pass on to the apprentice and the additional payments for training providers/employers who take on 16-18 or 19-24 (EHC/Care leavers)? Is there anything additional that would need to be recorded?
