Unfunded learners ILR

What government portal do you mean?

Hi Martin, 

I'm not sure, I have asked the question but the screen looks like this:

I would assume it is the same for an unfunded Apprenticeship as the ULN is recorded on the ILR.

This is to enable the ESFA to issue certification.

Do either of you know how I can get this sorted. Helpdesk is saying to go back to our MIS provider (Tribal) but they don't seem to have an answer and we are unable to book EPA's or issue certificates to these learners.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you included the ULN in the ILR record for these unfunded Apprentices?

I can't see that any of our unfunded learners are pulling through on our ILR - that's the problem I'm having and I can't seem to fix it.

I have a learner who completed in April and more recent ones where we are trying to book their EPA.

Because they're not pulling through they're not recognised on the ESFA so we cannot book anything.

That’s an issue for your software supplier to resolve with you as even unfunded delivery should be included in the ILR, and it is a requirement by the ESFA that unfunded Apprenticeships are included.

Not reported on the normal funding reports as these are unfunded aims you can find them in the FIS-CVS zip file in the Valid_LearingDelivery.cvs file however you will need to filter the data by FundModel 99 and ProgType 25.

It’s from the FIS file that we use before you submit your ILR file you will find it in the Sandbox directory wherever you installed FIS.

Hi Martin West, maybe I'm being totally thick, but I cannot see anything in the export folder

You need to select Export to Access and CSV on the settings before running FIS.

I have no fundmodel 99 pulling through :(

I'm not sure what else I can do now

If you have recorded them correctly they should show if you filter by FM 99 and ProgType 25

Have you checked you MI system is exporting them to your ILR file if not talk to your software supplier.

I don't think our software is exporting them. They're all recorded with 99/25 but nothing.

We are having on-going talks with our software provider and they keep telling us its errors (which would flag on rule violation if they were exporting).

I'll get there - hopefully

It does not error if entered correctly ask you software supplier what are the error codes produced? as I have said it will not error if recorded correctly in line with the guidance for unfunded Apprenticeships and the ILR specifications include that these records must be returned.

I'm back again with these unfunded learners :(

I have been able to export on our ILR and cleared most of the errors bar this one below - can anyone advise please as I have it on as 998 but seems to default
