None

Does anyone know if the IGCSE First Language English an acceptable equivalent for a GSCE grade 9-4/A*-C, Functional Skills Level 2?  I have someone who wants to do the apprenticeship however we require Level 2 English.

Yes, as long as they've achieved at least an E or 2;

English and maths requirements in apprenticeship standards at level 2 and above - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

That's perfect thank you.  If a certificate states Level 1/Level 2 GCSE I am also assuming if they have grade B that is acceptable?

Yes, that sounds fine.

A GCSE at grade 1/2/3 or G/F/D/E is considered a level 1 qualification

A GCSE at grace 4/5/6/7/8/9 or C/B/A/A* is considered a level 2 qualification
