Withdraw the learner back to their start date in 21/22 and then add them with the correct dates in 22/23. Not ideal, but as you've mentioned, there's no other direct 'fix' for instances where you've recorded the incorrect start date. You'll get pinged for not having done this prior to hard close, but it's better to ensure your ILR is as accurate as it should be.
Ben James How about a scenario where we want to change the FS start date from one part of the previous year (22/23), to another part of the previous year(22/23, for a learner who was carried into this year 23/24)? Having gone past R14 for that previous year but not this year (three weeks to go:) are we able make that sort of change? Thanks.

We have a learner who is doing functional skills as part of their apprenticeship and have identified an admin error on the start and planned end date. The start and planned end dates have been reported in the 21/22 ILR as incorrect so we need to change them in the 22/23 ILR. I have found guidance about changing the planned end date after hard close but no guidance on changing the start date. Can you please advise how we would do this?
