Apprenticeship funding within the same academic year
Created
None
Hi all,
I've had a question from one of my colleagues, that I can't find any information in the current employer-provider rules, unless I've missed it.
We enrol colleagues onto our apprenticeship monthly as a roll off roll on bases. We currently have colleagues on Level 3 retail team leader apprenticeship and more often than not, some colleagues process onto the Level 4 retail manager programme quite quickly. So far this has been in a different academic year but since we roll on and roll off, if we had a colleague that wanted to enrol onto the level 4 apprenticeship which falls in the same academic year as they completed their Level 3. Are there any rules to prevent this/ would the colleague have to wait until the next academic year?

No problem at all. This is normal procedure. Just make sure they have completed the previous programme and funding has been completed and it is for the next month.
