16-19 Learner restart

Created

Help please! I might have got this wrong in 21/22 and now need to work out what to do! We had a learner on a 16-19 funded Traineeship who temporarily withdrew due to having an Op. I marked as Temp Withdraw, and whether I needed to or not, put an actual end date and "no achievement" recorded. They have now returned, what do I do? Can I just take the actual end date out (me thinks not) and change back to continuing in learning? I don't think I start new aims? All the restart guidance I can find relates to apprenticeships or AEB. Any help appreciated!

You're not supposed to use a Break in Learning/Temp Withdrawal for 16-18 funded students. This from the PSM;

It really should be an ILR error if it's not allowable.

I think you should probably now switch the existing one to fully withdrawn, and just re-enrol as you would any other start, with the right planned hours for this academic year.

Thank you Ruth, didn't give an error, I'll do as you say above and see what chaos ensues!
