It depends how much prior KSB you think there is, and you would need to assess that with a Skills Scan. That Standard is "typically" 18 months, so if there was only 25% prior KSB, it's likely still be a valid apprenticeship (at a reduced price). Anything more than 33% KSB, would take the duration below 12 months, and it wouldn't be valid. Having said that, if your normal delivery pattern for that Standard is 24 months, and you can show that's what all your students usually do, I'd say you can still deliver with up to 50% prior KSB.
That's a conversation we've been having internally, as we've got a Standard that we always deliver in 18 months, though the Standard says it's typically a year. If it's only a year, even a very little prior KSB makes the apprenticeship invalid, but that's not how we deliver that Standard, so we're happy to take apprentices with a little prior KSB, and reduce the duration to somewhere between 12 and 18 months. I'd be interested to know what other providers think about that.

Can anyone let me know if someone completes a Catering T Level, are they then able to complete a level 3 Chef De Partie apprenticeship?
