23A-216 Actual OTJ Training Hours

Edited

Hi,

Since R05, we have been noticing a problem with one of our PDSATs. The 23A-216 Actual off the job training hours PDSAT's logic has learners drop on when the ILR predicts the actual OTJ hours listed may not meet the minimum requirement.

We have been noticing however a couple of learners have remained on the report since R05 but have no actual OTJ hours listed on the ILR and no learning actual end date - these learners are still continuing. We are not too sure why these still remain on the report.

Has anyone else experienced this / have any advice?

Thank you in advance,

I have sent a query to the PDSAT helpdesk this morning, as I have a record where the Actual Off the Job training recorded is greater than the calculated minimum required for the Actual Duration using EII 8 (31 hours) as well as the Apprentices Actual Weekly employment hours.

Will update once I receive a response.

We've seen this too. I have also previously emailed the ESFA about this report.

Good to know it's not just us then - we've also reported it.

Thanks for letting me know!

Did anyone receive a reply on this?  None of the learners on our appear to match the described logic. i.e. either Actual Hours exceed Planned Hours, or Actual Hours are greater than 20% of actual duration.

Hi, no still awaiting a response.

No response yet either. I chased up last week, but no reply.

Just an update - we have had a response from the PDSAT helpdesk and we have been advised "Our developers have looked into these and we are releasing a fix alongside the sampler, in waves across users." - hopefully some good news!

Yes you beat me to it, received the same email from the PDSAT Helpdesk this morning.
