Somewhat similar: If an apprentice took seven weeks of annual leave as their manager told them to do so or lose the leave. They spend some of this time completing assessments and preparing for EPA. They documented their learning and reflections in their portfolio (NOT OTJ but just new learning mapped against the standard). And we added this to the "training plan" during a review. Would they still have to take a BIL for the 7 weeks or could they continue?

Thanks, Steveh. These are two apprentices on the same Standard. One is year 2 mentoring someone in year 1 and signing the progress reviews. Similar to your comments we've accepted people on the SLMDA (Now SLA) mentoring someone on the CMDA but never on the same programme.
