Thanks Steve. Our challenge is that when some of our apprentices come in early, we may have some clawback for a month or two of funding drawn down between actual end date and the ILR being processed as a 1 /8 on the zprog. We do not receive the balancing payments until the apprentice has achieved. So it feels like some unnecessary cash movement, with clawback and then us getting the relevant balancing OPP’s. Is this correct, or should we be receiving the balancing payments upon completion and not achievement? Will this vary dependent on whether the PED is aligned to old learners and EPA, or new learners with PED aligned to end of on programme learning? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks again Ruth, thats helpful. Yes i know it does seem like we are over charging but it seems the only way round the pennies issue. So, just to confirm , for non-levy do you charge the exact amount e.g. £418.36? Or is that rounded up?

Hi All - one more question. Should we round to the nearest £ when invoicing employers? Or should it always go up to the next pound e.g. £57.23 becomes £58.00

Thanks Wayne. We receive the money from the ESFA and then we ask the employer to invoice us for that money, its not direct from ESFA to employer.

Hi Ruth Thanks for your reply. Just want to query what you mean by "If they're still on programme, then no. We collect the whole co-investment up front in most cases, so they appear as over 100% right up until the completion payment has been triggered" If you collect the 5% as a whole up front why would it show as over 100 until completion payment is triggered? Sorry i'm new to co-investment and am still getting to grips with how it all works.
