Hi there, We have been told by the ESFA that they will "manually" pay the 2nd and 3rd bursary payments to us, and we should receive notification of this on our Remittance... Not sure why it can't be paid the usual additional payments way as adds another process into the mix...

Hello Christina Yes, I am in the same boat as you... I don't understand where they've got their data from for the EPAO part. I have tried to replicate it from an R14 report and we do have framework learners without an EPAO agreed - but that is correct. So wondering if it's picking those up?

Yes we have had scenarios where we have struggled to get the matching co-investment payment from Employers and still continued receiving OPP's. What would be the right thing to do though? I suppose from the rules it would be to ensure we can match the co-investment payments from Employers that are expected so to minimise that risk of potential OPP's being held back (if the ESFA decide later down the line to get the infrastructure to withhold payments?). Will we get penalised by the ESFA or by auditors if we do not have the matching co-investment at audit?

Hello sorry to jump on, we had 1st August too. With School Leavers, do you know if a 15 year old is okay to enrol early August 2022? They would be 16 on 31/08/2022 so assuming it's okay?

Thank you, so a school leaver who is 15 when they enrol in early August 2022, but then would be 16 by 31/08/2022 would be eligible for funds?

Hello Has anyone had any update on this? I queried with the Helpdesk today and received the below response... "I understand from your email that you are requesting information about the reservation cap and when/if it will be reset. Unfortunately as it stands, the future financial year’s reservations levels for employers who do not pay the apprenticeship levy are still under review. In the meantime SMEs can benefit from further funding through the receipt of levy transfers from larger employers which don’t count towards the reservations limit. Once our team receives more information, we will be sure to let you know. I hope this information is found useful, Linnea." Doesn't feel very reassuring as the reservations have not been reset yet?
