Thanks Martin, I was hoping that was the case. If a learner left before completing (early Leaver) then came back but was employed by a different Employer, I could code them as a restart but would the new employer then need a digital account and the coding be ACT 1 employer? Sue

Hi Martin, Sorry but I am still not clear. Do I need to add another ACT even though it will remain the same type?

Hi Martin, Thank you this seems to have solved y error problem Just to check, having added and new Employment status line for the redundancy do need to close the original ACT and open a new one or just leave the original one there without an end date Sue

That was my thought too and unless they have changed their systems since I worked there they would be a large provider Sue

Hi, so things have moved on since my last post and we have found 2 ATA's the schools can use. I now have a question about the 5% co-investment: One ATA charges the 5% co investment irrespective of the apprentices age (ie we charge the employer for ALL apprentices) the other only charges it if the apprentice is 19+ (we only charge the employer for 19+ Apprentices) Would this be because one ATA is classed as Large and the other as Small? or is there another ruling about ATA's that I am missing Sue

Hi So an update on this situation. I finally got through to the Apprenticeship service and after doing numerous checks we have found that all our learnes who started September 2020 were coded ACT 2 this is why we are receiving all our funding. When the digital accounts were set up the codes were never changed to ACT 1 therefore the digital account cannot see the learners to confirm their start and hence allow claims for employer incentive :( We have now had the end of year close so the Apprenticeship service are looking into the options we have as we have employers who have calimed the incentive within the timescale but payment has not been generated.
