Good morning Alison We have had a similar issue with an employer for a new start that didn't get their levy transfer sorted in time, through no fault of their own, so that the actual start date on the ILR and the start in the DAS do not match. The employer has accepted responsibility for the co-investment element prior to the levy transfer completing and I have just added a new employer record and TNPs as though a change of employer to see if I can now sort it. Interested to see if others also respond to this as levy transfers are causing us issues. Best wishes, Gill

Thanks Ben. I am trying to write a timetable of actions required and people who need to be available and was working on 14 days as a notification period but couldn't find anything either. I think I have read previously that the files can now be electronic rather than printed. Have you seen this? If anyone on here has had an assurance visit, can you give any indication on how long they remain on campus reviewing the evidence?

Good afternoon. I have another variation of this DLOCK 10 issue. Learner left first employer as 06/08/2021. Employer stopped the Apprenticeship service as August too Learner started with 2nd Employer as 09/08/2021. Due to issues in setting up the Apprenticeship Service account for the new employer and the monies being transferred from a levy payer the new account is now dated as starting December 2021. The learner has been with us continuously throughout. I have a DLOCK 10 error that says the 2nd Employer has stopped the account as 09/08/2021 I would prefer to resolve this without stopping the record if possible as the ILR is actually right but cannot get the Apprenticeship service to match it or therefore draw any funding for the learner. Hi Craig. The short answer to this is 'no'. Apparently they did initially allow you to contact them to alter the date but will not now do this. The guidance suggests you have to have the reservation in place prior to the apprenticeship starting and know it has to be used within I think either 2 or maybe 3 months or it expires. We fell foul of this last year when a learner moved from a levy to non levy employer, no break in actual learning but had a break in the funding due to not being able to backdate the reservation. It took a little while for all the paperwork/contracts etc to be sorted following the move of employer by which time the gap had occurred. The Period End reports showed the gap as co-investment.
