Morning Most everything you do can impact the finances. Have you changed any end dates, moved employers, gone from levy to non levy, have the employers fallen under the required threshold and run out of levy, added any achievements, BILs, restarts, monies clawed back ... the list is endless

Once he has returned and completed his 42 days then I see no reason why you wouldn't be paid for March as he was on programme and in learning.

My understanding is that they need to be on programme for 42 days before they are eligible for funding.

Thanks Steve I have always managed to separate them into consecutive returns but timings didn't allow with this one.

We are having the same issue with 8 learners who have returned to do a higher qualification and the Contract Preferences are being pulled through to the return from the old records. Are you using SITS Laura?

I personally would like to see both. Using planned learning can cause issues with the learner looking as though they have not achieved in HESA and eating into the timeframe after which the IT accounts are automatically closed removing all access to what they need in order to complete the apprenticeship. I am fed up of reports telling me they are 'beyond planned end date' when they are in EPA however it will also impact the OTJ calculation ... again. Hopefully all will be considered before the start of 2024/5

Thanks Paul I have now requested a list of the learners they think are below the minimum as I cannot locate any and there is no function to drill down on this report.

If I remember rightly it was the wrong PAYE account that they had set up on the DAS. So something we couldn't see. I agree Ruth, knowing if they are levy or not would be useful. Our employer still had to pay the missing 5% co-investment too.
