Oh my goodness, me too! Nearly 2000 of these warnings! Hopefully something will appear from the ESFA about it asap!

Hi Charlotte - we've had a similar situation with an applicant who is 6 months away from completing a privately funded masters who has been nominated for a level 7 apprenticeship. We've reviewed carefully how the individual is funded and determined that it does not contravene funding rules as they are not in receipt of public funds as per Ben's message. We've reviewed the content of both qualifications to ensure there is no duplication of learning as well. We've also considered the impact on them in completing their masters and starting an apprenticeship as we needed to be sure both they and their employer wouldn't be disadvantaged and there would be no detrimental impact on their ability to achieve either qualification. We've discussed it in depth with both the applicant and their line manager, worked through the delivery schedule and expected workload for both qualifications from which all parties are happy that the workload is manageable. To support our decision we will be ensuring their record fully reflects the discussions and plan of action.

Hi Annabel - the apprentices record needs to be forced for inclusion in your next ILR submission for 22/23 for the changes to be registered everywhere that's necessary. Your ILR software should provide an option against both learning aims to force inclusion.

Thanks Martin - I thought that's where I may have to turn to but thank you for concurring with my concern.

Yes, I've raised a call with the service desk and had to correct them as they keep thinking i'm struggling with the period end reports. As I couldn't fully remember where the summary report was located until you said Jessicar I'll go back again and ask why they've disappeared. It's really frustrating as I was only looking at them a week ago! Thanks Jessicar.

Hi Helen - thanks but it's not the period end reports, its a summary report that illustrates how the monthly payment has been made up taking into account dlock errors, withheld completion payments and clawbacks. You can't download the actual summary but at the bottom of the page you can download a csv that shows you which learners are causing payments to be withheld/clawed back.
