Hi, I have a similar question regarding an apprentice moving from one main provider to another main provider. Does anyone know what evidence needs to go with them - I would presume their portfolio of work and OJT log, but what about any of the learner evidence pack/enrolment paperwork or does that stay with the original provider? Thanks Steve Hewitt! It was the Academic_Year column that had thrown me with everyone showing as 2020/21. You're also correct that the Traineeship spreadsheet just has old learners on it so mystery solved :-) Thanks, Judy

Kuldip I've clicked QAR-10024055-2021-InYear_R12-V1.zip file which was uploaded to VYED on 27th August 2021 but it has a folder for Traineeships ... which we haven't run for several years! Is this normal? I've also checked several ULNs across the ET spreadsheet and again I'm finding learners from 2017 onwards. Have I misunderstood the data set or have we a problem?

Thanks Martin. He's completed all his learning on the legacy qualification we have received 100% funding for that aim. I presume we would adjust the funding for the new aim to draw down £0 as he can't be funded twice for the same qualification?

Just to add to this thread - I recently had a DLOCK_10 resolved following advice from the Apprenticeship Service. I discovered that DLOCK_10 can only occur when a stop has been applied to a record and the stop dates on the Apprenticeship Service default to the first of the month. Like you Liam, the DLOCK_10 matched against the old employer, not the new and it took quite a while to sort out!

Hi Martin, That answer came from the ESFA/EDRS! Yes, we added the new employer (UK office address) but then that request gets sent to the ESFA for checking with the employer organisation. They've done their checks and come back with that reply about the Non-UK registered companies so we're a bit stuck!

Hi Martin, Last week there was an update but can you offer any clarity on whether a Level 3 Apprentice can pass through Gateway without having achieved their Level 2 Functional Skills? "Apprentices undertaking a level 3 or higher apprenticeship are still required to hold or achieve an approved level 2 functional skills English and maths qualification before they can successfully complete their apprenticeship. If the apprentice would like to attempt the level 2 functional skills English and maths assessment, they should be allowed to do so.
