I have something a bit similar. The apprentice is currently in gateway and has completed the first assessment, however they are likely to be with a new employer for the 2nd part. The current employer is saying they will take them off DAS as when they complete they will no longer be employed by them. I cant imagine the new employer will want to pay the 20%. Any thoughts please?

Thanks Helen, I'm still unsure about one of my leaners. See note above. These changes have been made in the 2004/5 funding rules but what if leaners started in the 2003/4 funding year?
