We annotate on the PDSAT reports why they have been withdrawn on day one - due to admin error/shouldn't have been open at R14 etc. I'm not sure you can avoid them appearing on there but we use the PDSAT to explain why we have done something, rather than 'this is wrong we must clear it' (unless it is clearly a mistake). Anything you've been paid in this contract year should be clawed back when you upload for R13. We use the EAS to pay back payments that fall into previous years but I think you have to have written approval from the ESFA first.

My understanding is that it should be OTJ or English and Maths.

We had this problem and I contacted the app service, they advised to process anyway and ignore the warning (it was difficult to convince our employers they wouldn't be charged). App service said; The AS system will only show the funding band warning for new apprentices with a start date within the same month as the revised delivery start date. This is because the Apprenticeship Service defaults to the funding band maximum present on the 1st of the month and in the scenario of recent funding band maximum increases, they are dated as approved for delivery from 26/06/2023. As long as the start date of the learner in your ILR is from 26th June 2023 onwards (start date for the new version); the funding band maximum will be the updated to the increased amount which can be checked in your indicative earnings reports. The employer will not be charged any fees over the funding band maximum as long as the ILR apprenticeship start date and new standard version funding band maximum start dates are in line with each other.

Hi, we've had a few transfers recently and had a similar problem collating their OTJ before they started with us. We contacted the ESFA and they advised we were only responsible for the OTJ they would need to complete during their time with us.

Yes, you have an expected end date for when you think the aim will end and an actual end date once the learning is completed.

The new employer doesn't have to reserve funds if you change employer on the apprenticeship service and I don't think count towards the 10. First employer needs to stop the first record, new employer has to give you permissions on the apprenticeship service and then you should be able to move to the new employer.

It is in the apprenticeship funding rules for employers. E215 If you do not pay the apprenticeship levy you must also co-invest at the relevant co-investment rate, towards the agreed cost of apprenticeship training (see table above). The government will pay the remaining percentage up to the funding band maximum. Where the funding band maximum is exceeded, you must pay all the additional costs above the funding band maximum. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1037430/2122_Employer_Rules_Version_2__To_publish.pdf
