When compared to the example in the OTJ guide there is little difference? 52 weeks (minus 5.6 weeks statutory annual leave) = 46.4 weeks 46.4 weeks x 30 hours = 1,392 hours 1,392 hours x 0.2 (minimum 20% off-the-job training) = 278.4 hours. In your example you have a 1 year programme as 366 days (that is 52.28 weeks and not 52) you have the same issue with the statutory leave which should be based on a year + 1 day 52.28 weeks (minus 5.63 weeks statutory annual leave) = 46.655 weeks 46.655 weeks x 30 hours = 1,399 hours 1,399 hours x 0.2 (minimum 20% off-the-job training) = 279.9 hours. You should follow the example in the guidance and I would avoid mixing days and weeks in the calculation it has to be one or the other,

It means that you must not return a record where the start date is before the reservation of funds, you should delete the record and create a new record with the correct start date.

You need to identify a learning need to be able to claim LSF see the rules below. Apprentices who need access to learning support P90 Learning support is available to meet the costs of putting in place a reasonable adjustment, as set out in section 20 of the Equality Act 2010, for apprentices with a learning difficulty or disability where this affects their ability to continue and complete their apprenticeship, including costs associated with meeting identified needs in end point assessment. Learning support can only be claimed if it is required for this period. P91 We will provide learning support for apprentices with learning difficulties or disabilities as defined in Section 15ZA(6) of the Education Act 1996 (as amended by section 41 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009). This includes individuals who self-declare a learning difficulty or disability, and those who do not have a diagnosis of a learning difficulty or disability but in relation to whom the main provider has identified to us a learning need.

As payment for the month is determined by the employer on the last day of the month and the dates to and from must be the same then you should use the 10 of the month for both to ensure payments come from the corresponding ACT and avoid the error.
