If they already received the payment for their employee starting an apprenticeship, they shouldn't be able to claim for a second time due to them standard. My thoughts anyway! interesting scenario, so useful to see what others think and if you find anything further out on this.

Hi Mel, I believe it only applies when they leave care as the funding rules state "You must have evidence that the apprentice is eligible for this payment before you claim or are funded for any associated additional payments for you or the employer. This must be a signed email or letter from a local authority appointed personal advisor confirming that the apprentice is a care leaver". There isn't anything that I can see within the care leaver section that talks about someone been in Care currently. Hope this helps

Hi, I have the seen this error in relation to the date on the ACT not matching the achievement date. If there is no achievement date it matches the end date in the ILR but if the achievement date is known then the act end date needs to match the achievement date. For apps the achievement date needs to be captured in the ILR.

Morning, they no longer get allocated as Non-Levy or Levy, as ACT 1 just signals that they are through the Apprenticeship service account :) that's my understanding anyway - Thanks
