Ive only ever used BUD for apprenticeships when it was in its infancy but it worked quite well in terms of enrolment, reviews, portfolio and completion. The reports were a bit iffy but it was early days.

Sorry meant average, max is 40 hours a week. I think the average works out at 16 hours a week for roughly 40 weeks which is about 640. I think there’s something in the rules that states you can deliver more yes but they don’t expect the average FT learner to have more than 640 planned in year.

Max would be 640 hours in a year. You’re right they need to match as it’s one of the tests on an audit.

Its based on the ILR spec Mike. ILR Specification 2025 to 2026: Field: Delivery Location Postcode All provision delivered face to face should have a valid postcode, whether it is the provider’s site postcode or the postcode of another location where the provision is being delivered. The ZZ99 9ZZ postcode should only be used where the majority or all the learning is being delivered remotely.

Hi Helen, no we amend the plan once we have found one for the learner using any remaining EEP hours.

We don't bother with the portal as they only rush things if you mark it as critical. Bring back the good old days of having a chat facility and watching an expert log into your PICS at their end to work things out. Probably will get replaced with AI soon Steve Hewitt :)

More of an ofsted requirement on SP in my opinion, although we do aim level reviews every 2-3 months. On an audit they are looking for the IAG/IAs, learning agreement (timetable), enrolment form. Think they call it base documentation? Then any achievements and work placement evidence if you do them as well. All backed up with your registers off course. Thanks
