Hi All.  For anyone who was interested in the answer to this query ... I emailed the ESFA for clarification, this was their reply ... "The count stops once a learner goes on a break in learning.  For this learner their attendance on the programme was 35 in total (17 days + BiL + 18 days = 35 days)."

Thanks Ruth.  They are not an Apprentice and their start date was 17/02/2025, so will be Funding Model 38. I also thought they might have to stay as a 105 Source of Funding, due to the original start date in the ILR. I will try it and hopefully it wont error.

Thanks Steve. I couldn't see anything in any of the DFE guidance.  Agreed with your points, I will raise them with my manager, we know what students are like for remembering ID cards etc.  We use the tap in system in our HE sector of the organisation, so think they are looking at rolling it out to FE adults, to improve the recording & monitoring of attendance.

Hi Chris.  Thanks for the reply.  The learner was only on the T Level for September and October before Transferring to a Study Programme.   I have just checked our Funding Summary report from the ILR and the learner is showing as "1180 hours (T level Band 6)", so the ILR must only be looking at the T Level aims and hours of 1332 for funding payment  .... even though the PDSAT is showing the Study Programme hours and T Level hours added together.
