We have just had the same although really frustrating as this in in direct conflict to the Bootcamp regulations. It also goes against app funding regs as none of this learning is included in the standard. Yet another grey area in the funding rules then designed to make it difficult for Training Providers!

Hi there, in short, nope! It is still sat with DfE, the last thing they asked from us was a summary of everything we have tried and done and to request manual payment, which we have done, but not had an outcome as yet. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Hi there, original Electrical standard, Solar PV bootcamp. Employer has made a contribution, and you are completely correct about the ZProg!

Hi Steve, I may have got this completely wrong then and it is the first instance where we have had it so wish me luck! In the funding rules, it also states that the issue is where it replicates learning, conflicts with learning aims or takes place during working hours (i.e contravenes with 20%). If it does none of the above, isn't that ok?

Fab, thanks so much Ruth. I thought as much but it is great to have it clarified.

Thank you so much for your speedy response, that is what we thought. It is further complicated by the fact that the transfer was internal but onto an adult funded qualification.

Thank you, I did see these but these are post the Level 3 T Level. I am looking for the L2 Transition into an Apprenticeship - maybe not a popular route but one we are now encountering nonetheless!

Thanks so much, this is worth bearing in mind. Really, this has shifted the HEY for learners that have a definitive amount of time between Gateway and EPA e.g. Procurement / Accountancy. All learners with a planned end date of training from May will not achieve in that HEY and will all be continuers, potentially increasing the weight of withdrawals against achievers for that HEY. We live and learn! Thanks again, you are always a very appreciated fountain of knowledge!

Thanks so much for your replies. Just to clarify.... Those that have a HEY of 21/22 that do not get an EPA now will achieve in 22/23. Obviously I gain an achievement in 22/23 but as they had a HEY of 21/22 and therefore in my ILR as expected to achieve in 21/22, they are classed as a continuer? Is this correct? Surely this they skews my data as it was expecting an achievement?
