EmpId_01 errors

Hi All,

Hopefully a super quick one. Has anyone else been flooded by EmpId_01 errrors?

"'Employer identifier' is wrong. We can't find the number you've provided on our system. Check that the 'Employer identifier' is correct. You can use 999999999 if you're waiting for an employer ID to be allocated" 

We had none in yesterdays submission but a huge amount in todays. Have a query in with the helpdesk but it's so close to month end it's cutting it close! All the ones I've manually checked on the EDS service are on there against the correct employer but it appears they are not looking up to the validation report!

Yes suddenly have 2300 errors this morning! It looks like a system change by the ESFA that has caused this.

We have checked this morning further to this post and have no problems so does not look as though it is their end.

Tracy Clement or the ESFA have now fixed the issue. I'll try re-submitting the same data and see.

*EDIT* I uploaded the same files and the error have now disappeared so looks like they have fixed whatever they had broken.

Also just submitted another ILR file and seems to be resolved now, thanks Paul Baker for the heads up!

If anyone else is still experiencing the issue looks like it's being fixed in the background, below post on submit learner data

Hi All,

Has anybody got the same problem this month for R11? Almost all of our learners are returning Empld_01 errors but no problems in the past!

Have raised with ESFA but their response is up to three working days.
