Hi Ian,
This is the new portal, although I agree its not great, I thought it was supposed to be single sign on like the rest of DfE systems but its not, it made me register for an account and wouldn't let me use the same password I use for DAS, SLD etc.

I haven't personally had any sign-in issues, but I have to agree that I don't think it's especially great. For instance, if the query you've raised means they've had to refer it to another team, it's marked as 'completed' within the 'View your enquiries' section. I understand they probably don't want tickets left open when they can't personally do anything about it, but I feel like they should take a greater degree of accountability to ensure that it's followed up. Marking things as 'completed' when they patently are not is as misleading as it is unhelpful.
I think we've all experienced the 'escalated to the technical support team' email of doom.. which this has done nothing to solve.

I am finding the new help desk very badly designed. I seem to be sent in circles. Could someone direct me to the help enquiry form please
