How many days are they out by? Are they aims that have their own contract type (Maths and English) or just regular component aims? If they aren't funded elements you might prefer to make a note on the file explaining the error as it won't have any implications for the overall programme funding or achievement. You can't amend the start dates if they were returned in a previous year ILR, you would need to withdraw them back to start and re-enter them with the correct date.
If it's the non-reg, don't worry at all! They're only there as an admin oddity because the validation won't let you have a programme aim with no components. It represents nothing at all. I raised this with ESFA recently to see if they plan to get rid of the requirement for a component aim in every Standard once frameworks are all done, but apparently they can't, because they need the rule to be in place for T Level ZPROGs. I'm pretty sure they could easily throw in an exception for funding 36. So, since it represents nothing, the dates are irrelevant.
English and maths you can fix using the PSM guidance on fixing records after a hard close. It's highly unlikely though that an English or maths component would have start and end dates that match the entire standard, unless you really do deliver those for the full duration. That's a risky strategy if they then don't pass by the time the standard finishes. We usually make sure we plan to finish English and maths delivery a while before the Standard Planned End Date, so there's time to resit if needed.

Component Aim
Edited
Hi, I wonder if you can help. I have identified several learners where the component aim start and end do not match with the program aim. These learners started in 22-23 contract and despite my call to the Apprenticeship Service I who apparently cannot help me, I am stuck as to whether I can amend these which are clearly wrong.

I am unable to reply to your message. I have some that are unregulated linked to program but two are functional skills.
Can anyone help please.
