Key data return dates in the ILR timetable 2024-2025

Created

Hi, I am not sure if my brain is turning to blancmange but I cannot find a timetable for the ILR returns.  Does anybody have it or a link to it?

Many thanks

Frances

Now I want some blancmange!

Morning

They are always kept with the appendices https://guidance.submit-learner-data.service.gov.uk/24-25/ilr/appendices

Mmmm, blancmange...

NBBBB We've got an EXTRA WEEK for R14 next October!!!

Steve Hewitt I had not spotted that! Well that's nice. We tell curriculum the deadline is end of Sep, so this gives us an extra week for processing/tidying, plus it's during half term for us. I remember when they were trying to pull it into September.

Nor had I to be honest. Me right now..

Do neither of you obsessively read my LinkedIn where I pointed this out months ago??? ;)

Regarding the submission periods with a reference date (R04, R06, R10 etc), can I ask if anyone has any insight into the impact of not including all provisions being delivered by those dates?

Principle 3 Data Management Principles section states the following concerning reference dates, but I'm not clear on the repercussions of not including all learners by those dates?

Principle 3: For any particular return, a provider must meet the timeliness specification

Where there is a collection reference date on the ILR data collection timetable (Appendix A), you must accurately describe in the ILR all provision delivered up to and including the collection reference date. The provider may include data for provision delivered after the collection reference date.

I mean, it's basically fine, no one is perfect. Obviously, if you're on contract, you won't be paid that month for anything that isn't there (although you will be paid once it is there) and it might impact on any attempts to grow your contract in-year but I'd be incredibly surprised if anyone noticed unless it was like half your provision missing...
