PDAST report 25B-003

Hello,

Currently, we have lots of records reported in 25B-003 Possible duplicate or overlapping programmes and regulated learning aims report, this is because we use the enrolment record as the ILR record so when one of our Study Programme students moves classes both records are pulled in to the ILR.   For example, someone on a Tuesday GCSE maths class moves to a Wednesday GCSE maths class, both of these are in the ILR with the same learning aim but different start dates.   Should including both or should we be only including one aim that spans both?

I hope I've explained that clearly!

Thanks,

Neil.

Just the one aim necessary spanning the duration. You usually just have group codes for these situations that are tied to the one course.

One of the golden rules in my team is "You cannot transfer from A to A". As Steven says, it's one enrolment in the ILR.

For our own records, we do sometimes have two rows in our own data with difference internal codes, but the original one is not in the ILR, and we back date the start date of the new one. We also reattach all the attendance from the old enrolment onto the new one, so first and last attendance match start and end date internally.

The only time you should normally transfer from an aim to the same aim, is if you had to fix an error in an aim that started in a previous year.
