Short answer: No.
You mustn't change the planned end date unless to correct errors where it's been identified as being significantly incorrect;
Thanks both.
How do audit view this? So for example I have had an apprentice take 3 short (4 weeks break) in a 12 month programme. This has meant that I have had to extend the training programme by 3 months as it just wasn't possible to cram in the training. Therefore evidence against OTJT hours are outside the planned end date.
You are correct in adjusting the commitment statement only (not the ILR) to extend the programme due to the time the Apprentice has been on the short breaks, as the OTJT hours are checked at the end of the programme then the OTJT hours should have been achieved irrespective of what the planned end date on the ILR is.

OTJT recalculation if planned end date extended?
Created
Are we expected to recalculate and change the number of OTJT hours in the ILR if the planned end date for training completion is extended due the the apprentice needing more learning time?
