That depends when your Actual End Date is. The AED must represent the last date you can evidence learning. If that was before 01/08/2022, you report that in 21/22. If it was on or after 01/08/2022, you report it in 22/23 (even though 21/22 is still open). You should always report dates in the year in which they fell.
If you found out after 21/22 closed, that the AED was in 21/22, you'd just have to report it in 22/23, but that can cause funding overclaim.
If you’re referring to which year it will affect stats wise then it really depends when the learner was due to achieve and if the planned end date is later than the actual end date.
The later of the two dates will determine which academic year it’s affects.
If actual end was 31/07/22 but planned end date was 15/10/22 it would affect 22/23 because the planned end date is the later of the two dates.

If we withdraw someone now does it fall into 2122 or 2223? Just wondering if its still 2122 until R14 is submitted on 20th October?
