FRM_04 ILR warning - Updated

The FRM_04 rule is currently a warning, while we work to ensure that it matches the FRM_04 report. We will continue to review the rule and provide an update once the rule is ready to be switched to an error. 

The agency’s goal is to increase ILR data quality by applying validation that highlights changes to end dates. End dates should not change across academic years – please see the provider support manual guidance on correcting errors after hard close.

Hi Henry,

We are receiving this warning for apprentices where a learning actual end date does not exist yet i.e. they are continuing on-programme. Are you aware of this being an issue please?

This is also an issue for us, although it hasn't appeared for everyone continuing. I am hoping this is all part of the 'test' and they won't turn into errors..

I have the same issue, learners that are on programme receiving an end date warning.

Hi, Same issue here as others, the warning is triggering for continuing learners who do not have an actual end date as are still continuing Thanks

We're also receiving warnings for a significant number of live learners - can this please be resolved.

Hi, All of our current/live learners are showing this warning. It alarmed me this morning so I am relieved it's not just affecting our centre!

Just to mention that I have had a response this morning to an email I sent yesterday re above issues. They've noticed whilst testing the rule some learners are triggering incorrectly. They are reviewing what action is going to be taken.

Same issue here. I couldn't work this out so was just about to cross-reference our R14 claim to our current ILR before reading this. I shall wait instead!

Hi all,

Due to an issue with the FRM_04 warning we have taken the decision to turn the rule off, please resubmit your data to remove the warnings from your rule violation report. The ESFA known issues document will be updated to reflect this, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
