Thank you so much Steve! One more quick question (I hope), Does the QAR data use the practical period end date as the achievement year too? Or is that hybrid as well? So if someones pracitical period end date is 1st July 2025 but they complete their EPA 1st October and pass, is the achievement counted in the QAR for 25/26? For QAR it goes on the pracitical period end date rather than the expected end date? thanks!

Thank you Steve, nice to hear this from someone I consider to be an apprenticeship funding rule God! Thinking about it logically as you are, that is exactly correct. If they decide at a later date to withdraw then so be it! thanks again.

Hi Chris, the auditor actually asked what evidence we get to prove they have been resident in the UK for 3 years, they didn't say we had to keep this evidence they just said we should be noting what proof we have seen that they have lived here for 3 years? thanks

Hi Chris, We ask the question on our initial application form, and then on an enrolment form. We also ask where possible for the employer to confirm this as well. thanks Faye

Steve Hewitt & @kellyknights. I find it all really confusing! I had checked all of these guidance before posting here, and that was another reason I got confused. As you have said, it does not mention apprenticeships, and also when you go to this link below which is in the 3rd sentance on the subcontracting for the first time page: it is clearly says (excluding apprenticeships).https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/66697afc9d27ae501186db36/24-25_Subcontracting_funding_rules_for_post-16_education_and_training__excluding_apprenticeships_.pdf I guess we are best just to the follow the rules and get written approval. thanks both.
