If anyone is having issues with this I'd really recommend they report it to the customer support desk. As they just explained it to me as only affecting some users in the minority of cases.

I think there may be some confusion over their meaning with end date and planned end date. Due to this issue I think they're allowing learners who are live but the planned end date has passed. As my conversation with the support person they were very focused on the planned end date and it being changed by the employer. However in our case the planned end date has already passed on the DAS. They were telling me to change the planned end date to the actual EPA date. But in our case the planned end date had already passed. Would be helpful if they kept a Known Issues list.

We have a similar issue with completed learners showing as live on the DAS. We've recevied completion payments and the learner has received their certificates. We contacted the service and they replied with: I understand from your web chat today, that one of your learners are still showing as 'live' in the Apprenticeship Service Account, when they completed their apprenticeship in September they have received their certificates and the completion payment has been received. We are aware that apprentice records where completion payments have been paid are not updating the apprenticeship service status of learners from live to completed. The completion payments have been paid which you can see in your monthly payment report in Submit Learner Data and your remittance. This will not stop a new apprenticeship from being added to the apprenticeship service if the apprentice is progressing to a new apprenticeship. This status stopped updating on 16th September and we are currently working on a resolution for this issue.

Sorry to reopen this thread, but did you get an outcome for this Rachel? We've got a similar issue where we have three learners with employer additional payments, however one of them is a 12 month additional payment from december and 2 are 90 day. Instead of a £1500 payment we're receiving a £1000 payment and we're trying to understand why.

We did get paid both payments and hopefully the third will trigger at the right point. The only difference that may have an effect on you is that we were doing this inside the Academic year (but in R14). I'm not sure if the learner starting in the last academic year will have an effect on releasing your payments. That might be why you'll need an EAS. As it's so close to the next return, and assuming you have all the evidence you need. I'd probably try the ILR EEF4 route first, if the money doesn't get triggered I'd then go down the EAS.
