ProSolution users who use online enrolment - are your prior attainment entries recorded against the student automatically defaulting to include in return=no. For the online enrolments we have done today, i can see a prior attainment has been entered but the include in return flag is null. Not sure if there is a system setting around this but our IT department, who monitor our permissions, can't seem to find anything to default them as include in return. Also do you have the StudentPriorAttainment table listed under Data Explorer. Want to look at the data as a whole but the table isn't showing for me - again not sure if its a permission issue.

Kelly - the guidance doesn't confirm this though. If they wanted us to see it i would have thought it would have been worded similar to para 41 Its similar to the benefits argument for me and we aren't asked to prove they are in receipt of those I'll ask the question to the ESFA though.

But we don't have to see evidence if they are a UK national, so why should we have to see for EEA? If someone was smart enough to lie and put that they were a UK national when they weren't we'd never know. Same regarding length of residency in UK, thats all self dec but it's a key part of the residency requirements. Everything else that doesn't say in black and white you must see evidence, is treated as a self dec, so don't want to check if the ESFA aren't saying we have to, as it will likely slow our enrolment process down. Suppose there is time for it to be updated in V2

Thanks steveh but does it say in the funding rules that we have to actually see their status? I can't find it in any paragraph. What i'm getting at is can it just be a self declaration or do we have to see it?

We've had this error too on 60126292, but hadn't gotten round to checking it out with ESFA so thanks for this info.

Wasn't it part of Geoff Russell's paper regarding manipulation of success rates? This was over 10 years ago though and don't think anything made it into the funding rules although auditors used to check it i think. These days the funding rules are very vague, nothing clear on what is and isn't allowed, so does the absence of a rule means anything goes.....? I imagine everyone interprets this differently.....

THe whole idea of FRM reports is so the ESFA can monitor that we are checking our data, unlike DSAT reports that they only know we've been actioning when we get audited. Surely an error on the ESFAs part. Yes we should be monitoring DSAT reports, but surely the ESFA want to monitor our compliance with these two reports monthly?

A query to the service desk i think might be best something not right there. I m always a bit reluctant to go to the service desk as you can get copy and paste answers it feels like sometimes (rather them them actually reading your question) but today had a really helpful/personal reply to a query which was refreshing!

If you had a Non Levy using DAS (ACT1) does it matter if you can't distinguish them from usual Levy employers - wouldn't you be invoicing them anyway? Just wondering if i have missed something obvious, its not a report i usually deal with! On another note, do you know what it means when the Apprenticeship Contract Type column is blank i.e no 1 or 2 displayed?
