Looking at the ILR_Validation_Rules it looks like it used to check for < 372 days, and now < 365: (error where LearningDelivery.LearnStartDate - LearningDelivery.LearnActEndDate < 365 days) If it's just subtracting those two dates it will come up with a value of 364 days for the information you posted above, as it's not including the actual end date in the calculation: " From and including: Tuesday, 28 May 2024 To, but not including Tuesday, 27 May 2025 Result: 364 days It is 364 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date. Or 11 months, 29 days excluding the end date."

We've ran into this issue for a number of years. The only thing you can do is remove the Apprentice from the ILR until the start date is not in the future..

Also, if you don't extend the planned end date (even if you've gone past the original planned end date) then the learner will come up in this DSATS report: Report ID Report title Report purpose 25A-509 Breaks in learning where learning is not re-planned on return Identifies learners and any learning aims recorded as a break in learning where the learner returns but the learning planned end date is not amended to account for the time spent on the break in learning.

That report (despite the title) actually also shows learners who are completed but have an outcome of 'No Achievement': Lists learning aims for apprentices continuing in learning or leaving without achievement, beyond their programme planned end date, and other learners that continue in or leave learning without achievement, beyond their learning planned end date. That may be what you are seeing here. Richard
