If it was a levy employer they may have had insufficient funds in their account to cover the completion funding which will generate co-investment. Or if it is a non-levy employer (less than 50 employees) & if the apprentice was aged 16-18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP or were formerly in care) & they started before 01/04/2024 is the small employer indicator present?

If the apprentice started after 01/04/2024 then small employer no longer applies. However, if you are asking about the subsidy control declaration then yes you still need that for Levy Transfers. 161. Transfers of funds between employers may engage the subsidy control rules. For any transfer an employer receives, a percentage of the transferred funds may count towards the employer’s Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) exemption. This percentage represents the amount of co-investment the employer would have otherwise had to contribute towards the apprenticeship, if funds had not been transferred. 161.1. The provider must ensure the employer completes a MFA declaration for relevant funding they receive through transfers.

If it is only one or two they could have previously been on this apprenticeship with another provider. Other than that what Gill said!

If that doesn't fix it it could be that the new employer had yet to approve the cohort for the change of employer before the ILR was submitted. My COE invariably end up as data mis-matches because of approval delays.

Hi Maria, R06 data was posted on Friday on the VYED website. I wouldn't have known either if I hadn't seen a post by Nick Linford on LinkedIn. Just headcount, Past Planned End Date, Withdrawals & missing EPAO, still no drilldowns (underlying data).

Steve have you looked at the OTJ formula on tab 4? - is it correct as it is still basing on 20%

The new plan has just been posted here Apprenticeships: off-the-job training - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). Not sure if the OTJ calculation has been updated though? Tab 4 K19 still appears to have the same formula =0.2*(K14*(K15-K17)) Surely, it should show K17 *6
