Thanks for your replies. A few days ago, I resubmitted my subscription to both the pages that Steve Hewitt provided the link for above: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/esfa-update This page still shows the last update was on 10th January, but it does have today's update (21/02/24) https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/esfa-update-10-january-2024 (This one is probably superfluous, because the page for 10th January is not likely to be updated, is it?) Anyway, I have been patiently waiting for an update email today, but nothing has been received so far. Has anybody received one today yet? If yes, from what email address was it sent? Henry Wish do you happen to know anything about this?

Hello Henry Wish, I have been trying to find the data specification for the 2023/24 FE Workforce staff record to help us ensure that we have all the correct data. Unfortunately, I cannot find this information on the website, here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/further-education-workforce-data-collection Could you tell us when the data specification for 2023/24 will be published, please?

I've just noticed that the ILR specification for 2024/25 was published yesterday and is now available on the website. https://guidance.submit-learner-data.service.gov.uk/24-25/ilr/overview

Thank you Henry Wish. For myself, I was thinking about the allocations and funding rules for adult learning (19+). With the significant changes associated with the introduction of adult tailored learning, it is causing quite a lot of anxiety in the sector because we don't know: our allocation The funding rules The data collection requirements. Can you possibly give us a guide about when this information will be available, please?

I was just searching for the answer to this question myself, but I couldn't find it either. It would also be very helpful to know when the 2024/25 funding rules will be published as well. Henry Wish, do you have any insight into when these documents will be available?

David Dalby, Here are some ideas for you to check 1) are you using version 2223.4 of the application? 2) what method did you use to delete the old data from the application before you rekeyed the single test record? I deleted old data from the data menu, then delete all data command. I think this might delete only visible data, so best to remove all screen filters before deleting. 3) Which XML file did you actually upload to the website? On the application, did you press the button named "Export data" to make an XML file? I have no idea if this "Export" file is different to the file that results from simply saving the data.

David Dalby, after I had two consecutive files with "failed" reports, I just left it, and the reports for the latest submission processed automatically about 10 minutes later.

Faith T, my latest file has now process reports automatically, so there is no need to resubmit.

Hello Faith T, I have just tried to upload files to the website, but my problem seems to be different to Neil and Nicola Hubbard. I did successfully upload two files, but the reports page shows the reports status as "Failed". Will I need to upload these files again, or will the reports process automatically when you have fixed the problem?

Here is another related query. I have downloaded the three spreadsheet-friendly data files from here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/adult-education-budget-aeb-postcode-files#full-publication-update-history The files themselves don't seem to have any marker, date stamp or version number to show when they were created, yet the website update history says that the postcode datasets were updated on 10/08/2023. Looking in the files, there is no "valid from" date after 1/11/2022. So, I wonder if this means that all postcodes added after 1/11/2022 have a "valid from" date back-dated to 1/11/2022?
