Hi Martin There is no action to take and nothing should be changed on the ILR. Learners go passed their planned end date all the time and there is no need to change any data because of this. The planned end date is a funding construct as much as anything, and because of this should not be altered as it affects cross-year funding. From a quality point of view there may be processes that flow from learners going passed their planned end dates such as out of funding action plans for example. Thanks Paul

Reply back from the service desk: The data is being refreshed with the latest ILR return - this means that the dashboard is temporarily unable to communicate with the data model, but this will be a temporary issue and users can try again later today, at which point you should see new data in the dashboard.

Hi Emma - yes I have the same issue. It's a Power BI issue / reporting issue internally at the Agency (Skills England now?). I suggest you log a call with them to make them aware. Thanks Paul

Hi CME If the learners are still in learning then they should stay on the ILR as continuing. I'm assuming that you are using the word 'extend' to reflect that they are continuing passed their planned end date, and you know that you cannot extend the planned end date in any way. If the learner has completed all of their learning and moved into gateway then the coding should change so outcome = 8 When the learner sits EPA then the you can update the completion status to 2 which will trigger the completion payment, and outcome can be updated once confirmed by the EPAO. There are no issues to be considered financially - that's how it all works. You would want to understand why the learner was due to complete learning in August but will not until the following year. What was the reason for slow progress, should there have been a break in learning? However, it does happen and for many standards EPA is increasingly taking place at longer intervals after the planned end of learning as end point assessment processes are lengthened.

Hi Sam The funding guidance has not yet been updated, but hopefully we should see this in the next day or two so we can understand how this is to be applied. The devil is always in the detail. 10,000 more apprentices as Government slashes red tape to boost growth - GOV.UK Thanks Paul

I think it would trigger additional funding wouldn't it if you passed through a completion status of 2 with a 24/25 achievement date wouldn't it? Unless you did something to turn off the funding for the learner like the funding model perhaps, but my motive for doing this would be to force into achievement rates which some of the funding fudges might negate. It is messy!

Hi - which column are you using to filter your QAR year in the download? It should be the Hybrid End Year (column BA set to 2023) with QAR status (column BF set to "QAR Inclusions"). The QAR_Return_ID column includes learners continuing into 24/25 (column BO on the Apps QAR as opposed to BQ - maybe you have added columns for your testing work) .

We've spoken to them about this and the point I made was that the funding system is preventing providers from reporting achievements. Being able to send through an improvement achievement rates is in everyone's best interests, but we cannot because we have tied it to the funding systems. Our MIS allows us to force the update into the ILR, but the Agency's systems do not pick the update up for QAR purposes. It does not feel like the right solution or fully thought through as per the comments in the other thread (I agree that it is a useful thread Ruth!), but I suspect the volume of these is small enough for the Agency not to want to invest the time in resolving. We get one or two a year.

Yes, we have had a few of these. The issue you have is that you once you have claimed the income in one year, it is not possible to send the achievement through in a following year. There is lengthy discussion about it here where key points are covered. Further education and training providers community - Completion Status/ Payment processing

Hi Eileen You can find detail on how this is collected in the specification document below although it is not as detailed as it could (should!) be. Apprenticeship training provider accountability framework and specification - GOV.UK One of the things I have asked the Agency for is the ability to get to the detail behind these feedback scores so you can address issues with particular employers or areas of delivery, but that is not likely to happen and you can understand the rationale behind the value of the anonymity in collecting such data. However, as providers we should be and in most cases are collecting learner and employer voice ourselves at regular intervals in the learner journey and feeding that into our quality improvement process. This valuable information can then be used in any conversations with the Agency around this element of the AAF.
