The wording confusion is due to 2 separate rules for redundancy rules one where they have completed less than 75% of the apprenticeship practical period and one for more than 75%.

This list uses qualifications initially approved for funding in the adult education budget and free courses for jobs for academic year 2023 to 2024 - this has been used for illustration as the list of approved qualifications for academic year 2024 to 2025 is not yet available, it includes the New weighted rate for the qualification in 2024 to 2025. To become an End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), you need to follow these steps 1: Choose a standard. Demonstrate competence as an organisation, such as industry projects or involvement in developing standards. Hire assessors with occupational competence, qualifications and experience. Register for a Bravo account. Ensure data compliance. Provide company information. The application process to the register of EPAOs is in 2 stages 1. You can apply to become an EPAO by completing the online application in the apprenticeship assessment service 2. The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has built a service to help potential and existing EPAOs understand the business opportunities for apprenticeship assessment 2. Please note that there are no specific certification requirements for becoming an EPAO 3. However, you must gain Ofqual recognition before your application to the EPAO register will be reviewed 2. From the report guidance: It does not necessarily follow that learners that are flagged as HNS will deem themselves to have a learning difficulty, disability or health problem and vice versa. However, providers can use this report to check for completeness of its recording of learners with HNS. From the ILR specifications: High needs students: attribute field Definition To indicate if a local authority has paid element 3 'top-up' funding for an 16-19 (excluding Apprenticeships) funded student whose agreed support costs are greater than £6,000. Notes This field is only completed for 16-19 (excluding Apprenticeships) funded students where a local authority has actually paid element 3 'top-up' funding for a student whose agreed learning support costs are greater than £6,000. It must not be used in any other circumstances, for example, where costs are less than or equal to £6,000 or where the local authority has made no in-year contribution to the costs even if they are judged/agreed to be greater than £6,000.
