We had this all day Thursday. I tried probably 30 times and all failed. Oddly out of desperation I got a colleague who also has a SLD account to try and went straight through. I wondered if it blocks too many tries from 1 IP address. Very frustrating portal. Our never corrected themselves just sat there (and still are) as "failed"

Yes... I've got into this debate with our DPO where DfE consider us a processor, which we disagree with. We collect data for our own use, so we are both controllers who share data. We do get CE every year as we have a Welsh Govt education contract which requires it. I've thrown it back to our IT team to say if they are happy CE meets ITHC if we were asked by DfE problem goes away (unless anyone here disagrees!)

UKPRN 10004527 - I keep getting "Failed" in the report column with no indication why. in The Tool there are 12 warnings only, no errors. Helpdesk couldn't help but have logged a ticket. What do I do meantime?

We're an independent specialist college and get all sorts of random requests from different LAs as a national provider. Some want bespoke weekly attendance, some every few weeks updates on progress. We spend (read waste) far too much time sending reports to LAs that I doubt are ever looked at. My guess is it's LAs back-covering they have information on vulnerable learners when Ofsted do their SEND inspections in our case.
