I'm reluctant to default the source data because we'd then not know the difference between defaults and actual learner responses. However, I can amend the ILR without affecting the source just for the purpose of getting it valid for the return. It's an extra step in my ILR processing but hey-ho.

Right, I guess that answers that.... "We cannot change the validation on Tailored learning to introduce a time delay as this would be a costly development change. Although tailored learning requires a purpose code to be recorded at the beginning of learning, these codes can be updated later if the purpose changes. The TLout code should be added when the learner has completed or withdrawn from the planned learning activities, as this should be known when closing the aim."

The GMCA have told us that they have raised it as an issue with the ESFA and hopefully it will be resolved during the year. In the meantime they have instructed us to add two DAM codes to all deliveries that are erroring with this issue. Therefore, Ceri Fishlock, I think that means they aren't going to rush and you'll need to add the DAM or LDM code accordingly.

Yep, I'm adding DAM codes in to clear the error but we have the thick end of 1,000 to do. I don't think the ESFA appreciate that we providers need error-free ILRs so we can get our financial position.

We're having the same problem. One class on FM10 which crosses over the academic year is now throwing LSDPostcode_01. The same learners are doing FM11 aims starting after 01/08/2024 which are not triggering errors.
