Thanks then, I emailed the help desk too but not had a response yet. Hopefully, it will be working soon.

Yes it might be possible to do that. Also, the service desk are looking into it. Thanks

Yes or you can just re-install FIS each time until it gets sorted. It allows one file to be uploaded after installing but then freezes! Thanks

Hi Steve, Thanks for this but we have had no SP learners on Yeti for some time so cannot check this. We only have a small amount of apprenticeship learners outstanding but still need to export as we have achievers/withdrawals that need including. Yes these learners are distinct to APTEM. There are no learner records reported back as failing to merge. It just seems as though the merging tool is removing the section of XML relating to these FAM codes. Thanks, Martyn. Thanks

Hi Does anybody have any issue with ESFA merging tool not working correctly? I have now discovered it is the reason for the errors I have with these new EMH/MMH FAM codes. We use APTEM and Yeti as our MIS systems. The latter is being phased out by my employer but we still export a small amount of data from Yeti so I use the ESFA merging tool. I have found that an APTEM only export includes the XML code for FAM type EMH 1 & 2 and MMH 1 & 2 so the rule violations relating to this disappears. However, when I use the ESFA merging tool to add in our Yeti data, the EMH & MMH FAM types are missing and therefore the errors occurs. Therefore, it seems to be the ESFA merging tool that is not ‘merging’ the data correctly. I know I can add in the correct XML code manually for each learner but we have a lot of SP learners with more to come. I have reported the issue to the service desk. Thanks, Martyn.

Hi Chris, Yes I'm sure we have coded it correctly to the specification within the FAM section. I have gone back to APTEM to check with them. I think they have updated for 25/26 but I'll see what their response is. Thanks

Yes I think we have entered it correctly so I'll check with APTEM and see if the data is being exported correctly. Thanks
