Hi There, please help we have a learner who has gone passed their practical end in August 2023, actual end date is Jan 2024. We carried the learner as a duty of care and career but in March 2024 the learner changed employer and this has just been brought to our attention. The learner is being prepared for gateway and we would like to support her through. please advice on how we manage the change at our end so that we are compliant. Many thanks

hello Martin,  hope you can help what if the Original MP does not close the ILR at their end? question 2 - What is a new employer has reserved the funding but it has not been approved by the MP because they are new learners and now the employer wants to change to a new provider? how can the new Provider process the transfer?   thanks

Hi Martin regarding the new apprentice agreement and employer contract: 1 does the training provider state the balance remaining as the new price? 2 how is that calculated - is it actual or based on max funding 3 or can we state state Max/Negotiated - pro rata of the time remaining hope my questions make sense :-(

If for example what if our training plan is 400 hours per week and the learners Skills Scan with RPL suggests 300 is required, it is obvious that the duration will be impacted slightly and the funding too, for this example let say Max funding is 10,000.... how do I work this out?  but the min OTJ hours is 310 based on the learners working weeks, duration of 12 months and taking into account that we are working on 6 hrs min OTJ... it is all so confusing for me at least....... help! Trying to stay within the rules...

Hi, my understanding is that the apprentice should work at least 50% in England to qualify for an English apprenticeship funding. I think Scottish funding rule may have the same or similar rules.
