Following on from this, if a 21 year old doesn't have a FL2, but has a L3 (not FL3) qual would they be AEB funded for a L2 qual?

Hi, I wouldn't accept the PLR for exemptions if there was no award date for apprenticeships, but would you use the same ruling for study programmes?

If there is no award date can we still use it for apps & 16-18 COF?

I was under the impression that if I record it with the date we received, ie Aug 23, then this won't get picked up for 22/23 as anything dated after 31/7/23 would be ignored for 22/23 ILR?

Ruth Canham-James I was going to post a similar question - we have an apprentice who achieved May and I'd chased the employer for payment prior and after this date. We have received payment in August, so what date can we record for payment record? I may be wrong, but if this is recorded as August we won't receive the completion payment. Thanks

Hi all, Following on from post above, I know the guidance hasn't been updated yet, but has anyone heard when this will likely be? I've also questioned this ruling with the service desk, if they new employment isn't related to the apprenticeship, therefore a change of employer won't be actioned, why do they actually need to be employed? I have a situation at the moment, an employer has let the apprentices go due to business not being good and isn't answering calls. We are unable to get evidence of redundancy from him & i'm going to have to contact the app service to have the cohorts stopped - 2 of them have new employers, but one is in gateway and now unemployed. Where do we stand with this - can you offer any advice?

Thanks Martin, I've read that part, I meant guidance relating to evidence or how it should be recorded in the ILR.

Sam Hawkins They certainly are and when you email them they only quote the guidance to you - if the guidance was clear we wouldn't be emailing them :)

Hi, I don't have an answer to your query, I was wondering the same thing - I'm sure in the first version of the summary of changes it was to be moved from the training plan to provider/employer agreement, now it seems to have been removed altogether.
