We have our first care leaver apprentice, they are 17 and in foster care so still in care as defined in P112.1, I assume we still need an email/letter from the local authority and a signed declaration from the learner to confirm they haven't already received the bursary for previous learning? What do you include in the declaration, is it possible I could pinch one to adapt? :)

Hi, thanks for your reply - you answered my question more than the response I received from the service desk. I assume we will need an email/letter from the local authority and a declaration from the learner to confirm he hasn't previously received the bursary & he wishes to receive it? Thanks

The report has changed and now has a column titled 'Has this apprenticeship been funded for some of the time with 100% ESFA co-investment and no employer contribution expected (due to small employer waiver or redundancy)?' so includes apprentices who are 16-18 with a small employer waiver. I'm sure others, like myself check the report to ensure all co-investment is captured, eg levy employers who dip in and out etc. This makes things a little more complicated and I don't understand their logic behind it.

When changing an employer on DAS funds don't need to be reserved, you just action the change against the apprentice's record, but wasn't sure if you could use previous year's dates without it causing a data match error.

Hi, I work for an ITP, the only ESFA funded provision we have is for apprenticeships - all other provision is through contract with other training providers/colleges. Do I only include staff who are involved with apprenticeship provision and which support staff should be included, ie IQAs, quality etc? Thanks for any asistance you can offer.

Hi, I asked the ESFA a similar question as we are only directly funded for apprenticeships, all other provision we deliver is through contracts with other main providers - so do we only provide staff data of those involved with apprenticeship provision? Thanks
