Ben James so not complete a new one, just add new dates? Would auditors accept that?

Steve Hewitt thank you for that information - the assessment was already part of the induction when I started here, so didn't think too much into it. Going back to SA, we had a learner who started last month, but then there was an issue with the app service account and we are having to restart her - she had already completed some OTJ hours & learning on SA which now will need to be disregarded. Wasn't sure if we can delete & restart on SA? I personally don't use SA all the time.

Would you not even ask learners to complete VAK assessment now? Wasn't sure if it was just good practice to assess learners.

The funding rules state there following: P140.2 Where the apprentice already holds approved level 1 qualifications: Apprentices must start, continue to study and take the assessments for a level 2 English and / or maths (Functional Skills level 2 or GCSE). This requirement must be fulfilled before the apprentice takes the end-point assessment. Apprentices should be assessed at level 2 for all three units of the English Functional Skills and the assessment for maths. So if the tests he sat prior to his the start date can't be used, then he will need to sit further tests, I was just hoping there would be a workaround? Thanks

Ruth Canham-James thank you for your reply. Yes he did attend classes, but didn't sit a test after the failed ones prior to his start date - if he needs to sit tests again we will have to delay entering him for gateway. Thanks

Hi Steve Hewitt what is the gateway date? I've read various comments on here and people seem to use different dates for the achievement date. Obvioudly I know we can't add the achievement date or outcome until we are notified of the result from the EPAO, but I have advised we should use the last date any activity for EPA took place regardless of when we are notified of the result. The only reply I've received from ESFA is "The date you should use is the date the end point assessment period concludes.", but when is that?

On the back of this we have an apprentice (although withdrawn after 4 months) who did FS as part of a traineeship last AY with a partner who didn't achieve, although they have claimed the achievement in their ILR. We had enrolled him as there is no achievement date on PLR & he obviously doesn't have certs, so no exemption evidence, but he is appeaaring as an FRM01 issue because of them claiming he achieved. What would you advise in this scenaario? Thanks

Thanks Ben James I will give that a watch - when they contact you do they give you notice at that point and will they already have your recent ILR?

Hi, Following on from this - when you are given noitce do they already have the ILR they will be asking for sample from? I have only ever assisted with an Audit, so not sure of the whole process/timetable. Thanks

Hi Ruth, thanks for your reply, but i was under the impression that if an apprentice sits their EPA after 31/7 of the current A/Y then the acheivement falls into the next academic year?
