Of course, thanks! So much to remember for FM36, forgetting the basics for FM35!

Hmmm yes that looks like a new feature - The apprenticeship service seem to like to make enhancements features, but then don't communicate them out very well at all. They originally published: Completed The training provider has returned the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) as completed confirming that the apprentice finished their apprenticeship training and assessment. Once an apprentice record updates to “Completed”, a completion payment month is displayed on the record. This shows the month that the 20% completion payment to the provider was processed. Its whether 'processed' is referring to the processing of an ILR after the deadline perhaps?

I thought employers could add cohorts even though apprentices in that cohort may still be live in another cohort? I ve had the error message that dates overlap, but that used to (or still does) only appear once you as the provider had input the ULN. Is that not the case now?

Exactly what we do - if you only report Training costs in TNP01 you either get DLOCK errors or cash flow issues. The ILR just reads the latest TNP records so it will ignore the amounts input initially.. Just make sure the date to you use when correcting the amounts is in the current academic year.

DLCOK_02 wasn't this an known issue in 1920? I can't access the Known Issues document for some reason to check. Other than checking that when did you correct your ULN and when was the ULN incorrectly input?

@Dan Hodgetts How did you find the audit? Did the auditors seem a bit harsh or were there any considerations based on Covid? Were they auditing your 19/20 data?

Very rare a learner will know their ULN, so its up to you as a college to obtain them. For ERN's, its the same. Each employer is assigned an ERN similar to a ULN. They will not be aware of the number as its an ILR requirement, so nothing to do with the employer (although the EDS do have to call they employer to confirm details prior to assigning an ERN). If you are unable to find the employer on the EDS to obtain the ERN, its up to you to register them to obtain the number. Further info here https://esfahelp.education.gov.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360014179980-Using-the-Employer-Data-Service-EDS-to-find-an-Employer-Registration-Number-ERN- Would definitely not be making these fields compulsory if i were you as they are both the responsibility of the college to obtain.
