So the new Main Provider will bring them on as a re-start? apply a new Qual Plan/Start Date (but presumably show original start date with us somewhere) and a new End Date and do new TNP1 and TNP2 when they bring them on their ILR? Thanks Martin that is really helpful and I can see it from the employers perpsective now too and it all makes sense. One other question I have if you can advise/help is as follows: When the new MP applyies the New TNP1 and TNP2..... can I gve you this example: we as original MP have drawn down through OPL payments exactly half of the £7,000 max funding band that we originally charged the employer through their DAS account (fully funded through their DAS). So there is £3,500 of funding available for the new MP...... as 20% is originally held back (£1,400) will the new Main Provider show their TNP 1 as £2,100 with TNP 2 as £1,400 and will they receive that £1,400 if the learners achieves?

Hi Helen, although I can't directly answer your query we/I do have some experience of transferring in Learners so would be happy to take off line neville@otd.uk.com The old TP we had to transfer in from had been removed from the register and it was really difficult to get any info on the learner (start date/expected end date/how many OPL months had transpired/ULN/original TNP's/plus all personal data from their original application etc etc) The ESFA were not massively helpful in suplying any data and when they did it was around funding used but only spanned the 1 academic year..... guidelines within the ESFA Approenticeship rule handbook are not exactly easy to follow either.  Also I have a similar query but the opposite way round we are about to transfer out several learners to our 'sister' company (seperate RoATP companies, all learners with same employer) as we try to segregate our private sector work from our Apprenticeship/public sector work. So I was looking for some guidance about the best way to make this happen...... Martin any advice please?

Hi Jessica, spot on it was a DoB mismatch; we had taken 10 years off the learner :) by putting in 1998 instead of 1988; so hard to see somtimes even though its staring you in the face: thanks for your response.

Thanks Ben, I thought that might be the case given we have some confirmed; but we have one learner who is attempting to create his account and cant....... hence I raised this query...... so presumably either we have an issue with the info we have supplied him with or there is a mismatch between that and whats on our ILR submission?
